Researchers find how CT scan effective to assess people with chest pain

Previous studies found that evaluating patients with stable chest pain using computed tomography angiography (CTA) is beneficial. CT was associated with a higher likelihood of subsequent revascularization compared to other imaging modalities or no testing. The study supports the use of coronary CTA as the initial test for patients with chest pain and unestablished coronary artery disease.
